Welcome to InSiTu-Training

Facilitated Training for Humanitarian Practitioners
Practical strategies for working safely and effectively inside humanitarian situations

Why do we exist?

The International Committee of Red Cross observed, “Our job is not to do security, but to deliver effective programmes – as safely as we can” - and this the fundamental principle as to why InSiTu-Training exists.
We understand that a thorough appreciation of the context and inherent risks involved are critical for colleagues, if we are to work safely in difficult environments.
Our Approach then, is to create a learning space where people come together to focus on a framework for managing operational security aligned to self- awareness and team management that helps in the achievement of your aims.

What can you expect from Us?

Based on our initial joint consultations, InSiTu-Training programs set out to equip colleagues with a thorough understanding of the context, key actors, incidents and practices that can affect personnel and operational readiness specific to your location.
In identifying an appropriate program tailored to meet your needs, we listen, so that we may ask relevant questions. We are then able to deliver a variety of trainings or workshops on-site or at a pre-determined embarkation points to suit your requirements.
